Why We Exist?
Advocate for Students
Our commitment to students extends beyond the classroom. The Kings Education Association invests in and supports the students and families in our community through meaningful programs and community partnerships. We provide scholarships to help graduating students pursue their next steps, host our annual Homecoming Day Block Party to bring our school community together, and organize a toy drive for children in need during the holiday season. We believe advocating for students means supporting not only their education, but their success, well-being, and future.
Advocate for Teachers
Teachers are the heart of our schools, and the Kings Education Association works to ensure educators have the support, respect, and voice they deserve. We advocate for teachers in our schools, bargain fair and competitive contracts, and work to protect the rights and working conditions of our members. By standing together and having a collective voice, we strengthen our profession and create an environment where educators can focus on what matters most: helping students succeed.
Advocate for the Education Profession
Strong public schools depend on a strong and respected education profession. The Kings Education Association advocates for policies that support educators, students, and public education at the state and federal levels. We work to ensure that the voices of education professionals are heard when lawmakers make decisions that impact our schools, our classrooms, and our communities. We stand up for the value of public education and work to advance policies that strengthen schools, support educators, and provide every student with the opportunity to succeed.
